To explore an example of how the traffic flows in
our topology let’s assume a user from branch office A pings a
user in location B (Figure 1). The traffic will first gets
captured in AP-A and then will be sent to CPE-A through the
Switch-A. CPE-A will forward the ping request to the BS
inside the WiMAX network wirelessly and following that BS
will pass this to the CPE-B which is also connected to the
AP-B through the Switch-B. When AP-B receives the ping
request it passes it to the client. The client replies and the
Ping packets will take the same path in the opposite direction
in order to return to the sender
