Manothermosonication was also effective in E. coli K12 reduction
in apple cider. A 5-log reduction was achieved in 1.4 min
with manothermosonication (400 kPa/59 °C),while 3.7minwere needed
to achieve the same result with thermosonication, and 15.9 min with a
treatment of sonication alone (Lee, Kim, Cadwallader, Feng, & Martin,
2013; Ugarte-Romero, Feng, Martin, Cadwallader, & Robinson, 2006).
