The present study explored the relationship between resilience, perceived stress, and stress reaction among junior college students. Specifically, the study was designed to examine the extent to which resilience mediates the relationship between perceived stress and stress reaction among junior college students. Two standard surveys, the Student-Life Stress Inventory (SSI) and the Resiliency Scale (RS), were used to assess these variables among 115 junior college students. Differences in perceived stress and stress reaction between classroom-only students and students who also took online classes were also examined.
