solving the problems at workstation where the
problems are likely to originate (Horngren et al.,
2009). Therefore, workers in JIT production system
are trained to be multi-skilled and capable of
performing routine equipment maintenance and
quality control within their manufacturing cell,
rather than rely on centralized service departments
(Horngren, et al., 2009; Reeve and Warren, 2008).
