Table 1 shows that when the square is presented in an upright position all students (98%) recognize the shape as a square, but 43% recognize it only as square without any inclusion relationships, whereas 18% consider the square as rectangle, rhombus and parallelogram, and another 7% also see it as a kite. In addition we can see that it is easier for students to see the square as a parallelogram (45%) than as rhombus (38%) or rectangle (32%) or kite (7%)
