1.4 Nucleus
The nucleus N of a loop L is always a subgroup of L, but it is not necessarily
a normal subgroup of L. Even when L is a conjugate loop, its nucleus does
not have to be normal in L. (See Example 1.6).
Example 1.6. Conjugate loop with nucleus that is not normal.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
2 1 5 6 3 4 8 7
3 6 1 7 8 2 4 5
4 5 7 1 2 8 3 6
5 4 2 8 7 1 6 3
6 3 8 2 1 7 5 4
7 8 4 3 6 5 2 1
8 7 6 5 4 3 1 2
