Go underground and explore Niue’s limestone caverns, formed and shaped as the island emerges from the ocean.
These caves are located on traditional family land and are known for variety of passageways including the infamous ‘keyhole’. These caves are sometimes home to swiftlets, a small native bird that must remain in flight until they return to their roost. Covered footwear and well used t-shirt would be the appropriate attire. The tour leaves from the Information Centre in Alofi on Wednesday only at 9:00am.
