The objective of this paper is to develop thermal
comfort standards for air-conditioned buildings in
Thailand by taking into account of the climate differences
of regions. Apart from the common quantifiable
factors, the effect of two important non-quantifiable factors
on the thermal standards were also investigated.
They are acclimatization to the use of air-conditioning
at home and the education level of subjects. Finally
the data from this comfort survey are used to generalize
the concept we proposed previously
