The purpose of this research is to study of total dissolved solids removal efficiency from Concentrate water by using the adsorption process of activated carbon and grounded coffee beans. Using water from production of drinking water Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) at Sanuan Moo.18, Tambon Phraibueng, Amphur Phraibueng, Sisaket. Firstly, the determination of total dissolved solids. Secondly, filter water through the column experiment, which has 4 columns. Column 1 activated carbon 30 cm, column 2 activated carbon 60 cm, column 3 activated carbon. 20 cm: grounded coffee beans 10 cm, column 4 activated carbon 40 cm: grounded coffee beans 20 cm Finally, bring the water column to total dissolved solids. The results indicated that the column 3 of activated carbon 20 cm: grounded coffee beans 10 cm level had percent removal total dissolved solids of 44.76, columns 4 as 24.00 percent, column 2 as 18.86 percent and columns 1 as 12.76 percent, respectively. With the total dissolved solids decreased from 350 mg/l to 193.33 mg/l, 266.00 mg/l, 284.00 mg/l and 305.33 mg/l, respectively. And compare the efficiency of total dissolved solids. Revealed that the material absorbs two types of activated carbon and grounded coffee beans. A total dissolved solids removal efficiency was more than just one type. Water quality the adsorption process with activated carbon and grounded coffee beans. Can be reused as raw water, process drinking water RO because the water containing total dissolved solids under total dissolved solids the raw water entering the RO system and development guidelines for finding a new type of adsorbent. And can cause leftover to benefit.
