A confirmatory factor analysis with AMOS 19.0 was run to confirm the structure of the measurement model. The recommended fit statistics for the maximum likelihood estimation give evidence for a sound solution. The ratio of the chi-square value (χ2 = 764.274) and the corresponding degrees of freedom (df = 168) was 4.55 and falls below the recommended threshold of 5.0 (Hu and Bentler, 1999). The standardized root mean square residual (SRMR) is .060 and falls below the common threshold of .08. The root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) is .074 and below the suggested cut-off value of 0.08. The non-normed fit index (NNFI = .946) and the comparative fit index (CFI = .957) exceed the threshold of .90.
Table 2 summarizes the results for the measurement model. All indicators load highly and significantly on the respective factor and exceed factor loadings of .50. Thus, convergent validity is achieved. Additionally, the average variance extracted of each construct is above the required threshold of .50 .Composite reliability is above .60 for all constructs
