Phenomenon was revealed: that an increase in the air supply did not necessarily cause a fall in the air temperature. The results indicate that: without addition of water, the dry-bulb temperature of inside air was higher than that of outside air and a reduction in the air supply caused an increase in the dry-bulb temperature of the inside air: and under conditions in which water was supplied by means of the fogging system, the inside air temperature was lower than that of outside air and addition of air caused and increase in the dry-bulb temperature of the inside air. Furthermore, and as noted above, a distinction can be made between two levels of wet-bulb temperature of the air, in accordance with the air supply. In order to determine how to prevent interference resulting from wind action, an additional experiment was performed with a similar setup that differed in that the eastern aperture was closed and the western aperture was opened, to compensate for the lack of a roof aperture in the westernmost ridge. Among the results of this experiment, it should be noted that uniformity of conditions was achieved across the width of the greenhouse also, as shown in Fig.8. The significance of this is that interference by the wind was prevented.
