Nowadays, discount promotion has influenced many people’s purchasing in Thai society, especially for teenagers both in male and female. This is because discount promotion affects consumer’s behavior. Most of them often spend a lot of money to buy discount products because they think that they can pay less price for the same product quality. Also, many brands often tag sale labels in front of the shop because they know the consumer’s behavior that they will walk into the shops automatically whenever they see the sale labels. Therefore, this is the opportunity for many brands to provide interesting discount promotion in order to persuade customers to buy their products.
In addition, consumer’s buying behavior is important for teenagers because the researcher found that buying discount products becomes a part of their life. They insist that it is necessary for them. Some of them feel proud that they can have famous or luxury brand product with cheaper price. According to the questionnaires survey, there are no participants said that they do not like to buy discount products. On average, most of them bought sale products every month. Also, they spend more than one thousand baht for purchase.
This research will bring the benefit for the researcher to gain knowledge from the literature review. Also, it will provide the researcher to know other people’s attitude toward discount products and why these products affect to the purchasing power of consumer.
The research question is “how does discount product affect consumer’s buying behaviors?” The main aim of this research is to investigate how discount product has influenced buyers’ purchasing. The objective is to identify the reasons behind the consumer’s purchase of discount product, to determine the factors that stimulate people to buy discount product and to assess the buyers’ opinion about discount product.
