Badami mango variety grown in CFTRI campus, Mysore, India was used in this
study. Mango fruits were harvested at harvest maturity and peel was removed
using a sharp knife and the underlying pulp removed by gently scraping with its
blunt edge. To obtain the ripe peel, some fruits were kept to ripen at room temperature
and the peel was removed as described earlier. The fresh peels thus obtained
were used for analysis
