Ladurée Salon De Thé
Siam Paragon, M Floor

With this Salon De Thé, the French pastry authority finally offers a full dining menu that includes lean salads, sandwiches, serious main courses and a modest list of drinks. There’s reason to visit even if you aren’t into sweets.
One of their signature salads, jeunes carottes (350 baht) is a must-try, as is the light and refreshing tartare de thon (380 baht). For the main course, we went for their boeuf (900 baht). As can be expected in a French restaurant, the hearty steak came beautifully decorated amid different sauces and waffle chips. For a lamb that deviates from the typical Parisian fare, try agneau (800 baht) for its strong spices and Middle Eastern taste.
Desserts besides their macarons are their strong suit too. Don’t miss their hearty French toast pain perdu rose framboise Ladurée (450 baht), but go for the plaisir sucre (210 baht) for something a tad more dainty.
Open daily 10am-9.30pm. Park at Paragon’s parking. Most credit cards accepted.
