The empirical result showed a positive relationship
between effective communication and
shared vision. Hypothesis 3 was supported. The
statistical result of this study was also consistent
with the studies of Abrams et al. (2003), George,
(1997), Slack, Orife & Anderson (2010) and
Snyder et al. (1994). The more effective communication
there is, the more the people develop a
shared vision. Based on the study of Slack et al.
(2010), the consistency of vision communication
is important. When there is less communication on
the organizational vision, employees might be less
focused on the overall corporate vision. Therefore,
the corporate vision should be regularly communicated
to all persons in the company.
