Fine, I get!" Kaka cried. He brought the baby back down onto his hip. "Sashra, just stop it!" He pleaded. "I wish I did know the right words to say." Suddenly, a mysterious shock ran through Kaka. He stared at the crying baby in his arms, then lay her back in her crib. He walked to the door and turned out the lights. "I wish the prince would come and take you away. . . . right now." Kaka walked out without closing the door.
Sashra's crying suddenly stopped. Kaka turned around. "S-Sashra? . . . Why aren't you crying?" He ran back into the room and tried to turn on the lights. Kaka flipped the switch up, and down, but nothing happened. ". . .Sashra. . . ?" He slowly creeped over to the crib in the dark, being careful not to make a sound. Crazed laughter came from the crib. Kaka jumped at the sound. The young saiyan leaned in close to the crib, stretched his hand out, and pulled back the blanket to find nothing but sheets. Kaka began to shudder. "What the hell is happening?!" A flash of lightning bounced through the room. He quickly ran to the crib on the other side of the room. Kaka looked into the crib and saw Raven. 'thank the Gods you're okay,' He thought. A gust of wind blew open the windows and forced the young saiyan to cover his eyes; a tall, muscular figure emerged from the shadows lurking in front the window. The boy looked up and trembled at the man standing before him. He had dark, spiky hair that stood up, defying gravity; broad shoulders covered by a long, red cape; Armor the likes of which Saiyan warriors wear, white gloves and pointed shoes to match. A jade medallion hung from his neck by a chain.
"Y-You're him, aren't you? You're the Ouji," Kaka shuddered. The man nodded, "I want my sister back, please."
"What's said is said, Kakarot." Prince Vegeta said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"But I didn't really mean it!"
"Oh, you didn't?"
"Please, Prince Vegeta, tell me where she is!"
"You know very well where she is."
"But I want her back!"
Vegeta walked closer to the younger saiyan. He placed his gloved hand on his left cheek. "Kakarot, go back to your room. Go to sleep. Forget about the baby."
Kaka held the prince's hand to his cheek. His touch was strangely soft and sweet. "I-I can't," he whispered.
Vegeta was getting irritated. The prince pulled back from the blond. "I've brought you a gift," Vegeta held out his hand and in his palm, an orange orb appeared with five red stars.
"W-What is it?"
"It's a dragon ball," The prince explained. "But if you collect seven of these orbs, they will grant you one wish. But this is no gift for an ordinary saiyan who takes care of two screaming cubs," The prince explained. "Do you want it?" He held up the crystal to Kaka. The boy stared at the orb with tears in his eyes, not moving an inch. "Then forget the baby."
". . . I can't. It isn't that I don't appreciate what you're trying to do for me but, I want my sister ba-
"Kakarot," The orange orb instantly turned into a snake in Vegeta's hand. He uncoiled it and held it in front of his face. "Don't defy me." He threw the snake at the younger saiyan.
Kaka grabbed the snake around his neck and tried to break free. Suddenly, the snake turned into a piece of cloth and hit the floor.
"You're no match for me, Kakarot." Vegeta said.
"But I have to have my sister back!"
Vegeta pointed out the window. "She's there, in my castle." Kaka walked to the window with uneasy steps and looked out. An immense castle surrounded by an enormous labyrinth lay outside. "Do you still want to look for her?"
"Is that the castle," Kaka turned to Vegeta. "In the Saiyan capitol?" He was no longer in the room. He was standing in the middle of a dead field.
"Turn back, Kakarot. Dying in that labyrinth won't prove anything." Vegeta said. He gave Kaka an evil smirk.
"I can't turn back." Kaka turned back to the castle.
The prince walked up behind Kaka, placing his hand on the younger saiyan's shoulder. "Pity."
Kaka blushed. "It doesn't look that far."
"It's farther than you think, Kakarot," Vegeta stepped back from the teen. "I will give you twelve hours to find your way through the labyrinth before your baby sister is gone forever." And with that, the prince vanished.
Kaka stared in the direction in which the older saiyan had stood. "The labyrinth," He said as he turned. "It doesn't look that hard."
