Effects of temperature and salinity on hatching, survival and larval development of
Metapenaeus bennettae and Penaeus monodon were reported by Preston 1985. and
Parado-Estepa et al. 1993., respectively. Liu and Zhong 1986. reported that P.
chinensis can tolerate a wide range of temperature 4–398C. and salinity 2–40 ppt..
