Dear all,
Please find the updated implementation plan and airport list attached.
Yesterday we had a good meeting and I understood that the staff in Phuket as well as in Krabi are enthousiastic about iPort and everything works well.
The only remaining point for the implementation is the certification of APP Thailand.
We have executed all necessary tests for SITA, but at the SITA office they have problems to find the sent messages. The IT guys from SITA tell that they have found the messages, but mr Armand who needs to validate the messages cannot find them. Alas a problem at Sita, but we are in contact with them and we hope to get soon the certification
Chiang Mai is ready to Go Live as soon as there is an airline who will fly from CNX.
In Samui iPort is installed and also the connection works, but according to my information there would still be a problem with boardingpass/bagtag printing. This is because a proxy server is used and that is not possible for the Printer server. Khun Tanit will check this week what the situation is.
All the other Airports will in any case be activated in iPort, but it is not known yet when they will start using iPort.
When BAGS want to start on one of the remaining airports, it takes about 4 weeks to get it ready to go live.
The new function requests that Khun Tanit have sent to us are approved by the Functional board and will be developed in iPort as standard functionality.
Some requests need first to be investigated more before the final solution can be developed.
So at the moment it is not known yet in which release which request will be deployed, but Bert will keep Khun Tanit and Khun Cherry informed.
In any case the printing of the Infant name on the Boardingpass is already developed and is now in test phase. We have good hope that it will be deployed soon.
Since almost everything that needed to be done in phase 1 is done, we have agreed to close next week the project with a handover meeting from Project to Accountmanagement. This meeting will be held on Tuesday 23 February. Begins at 10:00 UTC time.
If you have any question or want more information, please let me know.
