On Day two of my visit, I still had a great amount of Jet Leg and needed to sleep in the PM. The minute I fell asleep, only my only my bathroom phones rang, not the room. I woke and anwered and they asked for another guest. I told the staff that this is room 2222 and I am not that person. I went back to rest and this repeated two more times over the next 30 minutes. I called the manager who told me they would handle it and I would not get any more calls. 20 minutes later, the bathroom phone calls began again and after two more staff calls I called the manager. She and a technician came up to diagnose the situation and I was tired and could not sleep before a critical business dinner because of them being in the room. They diagnosed the problem as being a cross in the phone line which they would have to fix. They disconnect that phone. Next day, still feeling sick and jet lagged, and about to rest in the afternoon, the technicians showed up again to fix it and I could not once again sleep or rest before dinner. Two days ruined by feeling tired, drained and anxious especially with the initial myriad of calls that second day. An awful beginning to my stay at Grand Hyatt Erawan for those two days. I found this totally unacceptable.
