Controlling the flow of operations is critical in cross-docking. Cross-docking demands that an order
must be delayed (intentionally) at the CDF, in order to wait for other incoming orders that could be
scheduled to be shipped to the same destination. In that case, the orders are batched together in the same
truck (according to their final destination) and depart from the CDF to the customer. Therefore, we delay
