The sample consumption per determination was 123 μL,
and the reagent consumption was 4.3 mg of sulfanilamide,
0.4mg ofNED, 63mg ofH3PO4, 9mg ofNH4Cl, and 1.2mg
of EDTA. This is much lower than the consumption in the
batch and FIA methods and also slightly lower than other
SIA methods [14]. The carrier was purified water, while the
ISO-IDF flow systems [8, 9] as well as other SIA proposed
methods [14] use a buffer solution.
