B. Kirby-Bauer Disc Diffusion Test
Figure 1 – 4 shows the inhibition zone of the antimicrobial agent against isolates. Two control strain Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus were included in this studies. The highest diameter of inhibition zone was obtained from 1.0% Formaldehyde against CUP4 (Gram positive) which was 57.5 mm. From the observation, CUP6 (Gram negative) was the most sensitive isolates giving the lowest inhibition zone (8.5 mm) in 0.5% Chloroxylenol.
