Before installing the motors, while the motors are still outside the machine, install the motor shaft sheaves
using the bushings provided. Place the motor on the mounting bracket, mount the belts and align the motor so
that the DriveR sheave and the driveN sheave are parallel. Adjust the belts to the proper tension and tighten
the motor mounting bolts. After the motor is installed, the belts should be checked for the proper tension.
When belts are too tight, excessive strain is placed on the bearings, which will shorten their life. When belts
are too loose, they will slip. Slippage will cause the belts and sheaves to overheat, shorten their life and result
in poor performance of the machine.
