Vision and Values: Vision and values are set through the strategic planning process. With the Strategic Plans 2015 – 2020 set, Vision and Values are deployed through work plans, initiatives and projects that are carried out to meet the metrics outlined in the strategic plans. Senior leaders meet regularly to discuss their progress towards meeting the vision metrics throughout the year and make adjustments. These management meeting are central to the Leadership System. Senior leaders draft up initiatives that are designed to meet output and outcome metrics in the Strategic Plans that are executed by the Workforce and junior faculty members. All decisions to work with KEY suppliers and partners are judged on the extent to which they help achieve SGS vision. Senior leaders regularly evoke SGS’ vision statement during faculty, workforce and student meetings to reinforce the values (see P.1a(2)).
