RESULTS
This study was conducted to determine if there was a difference between CAI and
TDA for teaching mathematics to students with SLD. A drill-and-practice CAI program
was used to teach mathematics skills to 50% of participants, while the other 50%
received instruction using teacher-directed activity.
Both groups completed pretests to establish a baseline and, at the completion of
the study, all participants completed a posttest. The mean scores and standard deviations
(S.D.) for each group are listed in Table 6.
