1. Processes one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
2. Utilizes the standard Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), InfoWorks, to receive, track, register, control, distribute, and transmit design documentation received from project team.
3. Enters data and produces reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications.
4. Maintains document registers and compiles and issues daily, weekly and monthly status reports.
5. Provides assistance to users in capturing and locating electronic information.
6. Distributes “controlled copies” of procedures to any/all local locations and ensures delivery and removal of old revisions at remote locations.
7. Receives, verifies and distribute all drawings and submittals as required by the project scope and procedures.
8. Ensures timely review of submittals.
9. Responsible for file validation and document controlling. Before submitting a document, a document or file to be checked and approved.
10. Ensures that all documents have no errors in filenames, submissions, etc before submitting it to the next department to avoid confusion.
11. Initiates and replies to routine correspondence related to area of responsibility.
12. Contributes as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others.
13. Keeps abreast of department technologies, techniques and services relevant to area of responsibility.
14. Works with other staff members as needed to develop and improve services.
15. Acknowledges and promotes Bechtel covenants.
16. Performs other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities.
17. Performs other assignments as required by immediate supervisor.
