Most children are excellent language learners. They are learn a second language quickly and easily. Most adults, on the other hand, find learning a second language difficult. They must study hard, and it usually takes them a long time to master the language. Adult usually try to learn a second language the same way they learn mathematics, science, history, or other subjects; but children learn a second language the same way they learned their first language. The child language learner has all the necessary skills to learn another language, but the adult language learner often has to relearn these skills in order to learn a second language.
