Conclusion
Pink guava shows valuable nutraceutical properties
in terms of high antioxidant activity as well as
vitamin C and lycopene. The flavonoid content
is reported with kaempferol as the main flavonoid
compound. Moreover, since these fruits show the
highest antioxidant content in the peel, they seem
to be particularly suitable for unpeeled whole fresh
fruit consumption and thus promote health related
benefits.
