Fibers were the most popular microplastics and consisted of
more than half of the total microplastics in each of the 8 species
(Fig. 4). Pellets were the least common in 6 species and were not
observed at all in Sinonovacula constricta or Tegillarca granosa.
However, pellets accounted for 60% and were dominant in Alectryonella
plicatula
