We evaluated the incremental data migration technique
on the multi-database system based on MySQL with
SPIDER storage engine. From the experimental, our
incremental data migration technique is effective for the
improvement of the execution time (except for some
situation). Because this multi-database system ensures
concurrency control, the execution time in this situation is
later than that in [9], which doesn’t ensure concurrency
control. On other hand, we proved the effectiveness of
incremental data migration in this system.
For future works, evaluation of the performance of our
scheme in more real situations is necessary.
