Some joints crave mobility and same crave stability; however, we still need a system of assessment that integrates functional movements with the tendency of certain joints to crave mobility and others to crave stability and that’s where the use of a system, namely The Functional Movement Screen, comes in. If we assess movement correctly and mobilize a stable joint OR stabilize a mobile joint we have the ability to influence or improve performance.
