The efficiency of training programs in managing victims of
DV has been shown in different studies. According to the results
of previous studies, the content, frequency, and timing of training are as important as the presence of training.
Richardson et al. concluded that suitably targeted educational
seminars can improve knowledge, and management in the field
DV, printed educational material is ineffective and that the
content of courses needs to be tailored according to the participants
pre-existing knowledge
