The author also agrees with Lee, the AAUW, and others that educators and administrators need to be working together to ensure an excellent education for all students. They should be working together on making the necessary adaptations within their schools in order to make sure that learning for both genders is taking place. This would include but is not limited to small classes, rigorous curriculum, high standards, discipline, good teachers, and attention to eliminate bias. This is half the battle, in the
author’s opinion, in confronting the gender divide.
