Biometric variations among four species of butterfly lizards, genus Leiolepis were studied from
300 adult specimens collected throughout Thailand. The analysis of variance on the biometry of the
body shape showed that three species of the butterfly lizards, L. belliana, L. ocellata and L. reevesii
rubritaeniata, are similar in the body size. Moreover, L. boehmei is separated in statistic process and the
mean values of characters indicated that this species is the smallest body size. However, there is one
character with significant differences among larger three species, which is hindlimb length.
