1. Introduction
Despite the numerous physical and mental health benefits
associated with regular exercise, many people fail toengage in a sufficient amount of exercise.3 Although numerous
factors such as pursuing higher education and entering
the workforce can disrupt or interfere with regular exercise,
pregnancy has been associated with the sharp decline in exercise
among adult women.Pregnancy is a time of social,
psychological, behavioral and biological change.8 As such,
it is not surprising that it has been identified as a contributing
factor to the decline in exercise behavior among women.
