The same test format is used for all ages. With children ages 4-0 through 10-11, start with the first example and administer items 1-40. For those older than age 10 start with the example for items 14 and administer items 14-65. Students will point to or say the letter of their answer choice (“A”, “B”, “C” or “D”). If the student says they “don’t know” the answer, encourage them to respond. If the student then refuses to respond, mark the item as incorrect.
