6. APPRECIATE YOUR CUSTOMERS
Thank customers for referrals, feedback and suggestions they make. It makes them feel recognised and reinforces a positive
behaviour so that they like helping you and referring your business. Remember that the last thing they want is for a friend
to come back to them unhappy about a referral they have made, so don’t let them down. A thank you can be as simple as an
email, a hand-written card, a phone call, or a personal thanks next time they are in the workplace.
