We have been given the opportunity to join our customer service awards with the Art Deco Heritage Awards to create a “Napier City Awards” evening on Wednesday 23 September.
As this timeline is very short, but the opportunity is too good to turn down, we have decided to run a simple “ People’s Choice” customer service awards this year to launch back in to this project.
This year the focus will be purely on retail, and we will have both an online voting component which will be run off Facebook, and also a physical voting box which will be placed on Emerson Street.
The voting period will be from September 1-13.
The Napier Mail has come on board as sponsor of this award, and will be running two full page ads in their September 2 & September 8 editions, as well as an introductory editorial piece this coming 26 August and a editorial piece focusing on the winners following the awards evening on 30 September.
We will have A4 posters for you all to put in your windows (or wherever you choose) & artwork that you can upload to your facebooks/websites etc.
The intention is to launch this softly and positively this year, with the aim to build back in to the secret shopper process for 2016.
Voters will be incentivised to enter with the potential to win Napier Dollars (as this was so popular during the playground promotion).
Of course we encourage you to promote this award through your own channels & get people voting!
The winner of this award will receive a $1,000 advertising package from The Napier Mail, an office shout morning tea & ownership of the coveted trophy for the next year.
And you are all invited to the awards evening on 23 September – but I will send out a formal invite closer to the time.
