Although innovation management tools and methodologies [2-3] of different flavors have been developed by a variety of software vendors and are today commercially available, these tools
are typically affordable by medium-sized and large corporations and, more importantly, they do not provide the “knowledge” that is necessary to drive innovation and entrepreneurial processes successfully (see Gartner’s 2015 magic quadrant for IT project and portfolio management reports at www.gartner.com for an analysis of some of these tools).
