Determination of iron by DLLME coupled with spectrophotom-
etry was compared with other methods and the result is summa-
rized in Table 4. In comparison with other reported methods, the
proposed method has short extracting time, lower LOD and wide
linear range. The result indicates that the present work is a simple,
rapid and low-cost technique that can be used for the preconcen-
tration and determination of iron in food and water samples.
