APEX, NC (WTVD) --
There was heavy police activity near Apex High School Tuesday afternoon after officials said someone was robbed at gunpoint while at a gas station.
The robbery happened at at 1410 W. Williams Street. Police said the victim had arranged to meet someone about a Craigslist advertisement when the suspects came up to him and stole his wallet.
The four suspects fled in a car going east on Highway 64, but were intercepted by Apex police officers.
Three were captured immediately, but the fourth fled on foot towards the school. He was captured a short time later and had the gun on him that was used in the robbery.
The school was temporarily locked down during the incident.
