Michelle is best known for her roles in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, and the multiple Academy Award-winning Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, for which she was nominated the BAFTA for Best Actress. She was also chosen to play the iconic Burmese politician and Nobel laureate, Aung San Suu Kyi, in Luc Besson’s The Lady.
Michelle is a particular fan of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where she can often be found relaxing over tea in the Clipper Lounge, but also has ‘a very special place in her heart’ for Mandarin Oriental, London. A constant traveller, she is always made to feel at home by the staff there.
Michelle’s charity of choice is the Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
