International students will need a valid Australian student visa to study at RMIT in Australia, unless they already hold a visa that allows them to study without any restrictions. You must ensure that you have the correct visa to study at RMIT Australian campuses.
If you have applied to study at RMIT University via one of our authorised representatives or agents you will be required to provide evidence that you are a Genuine Temporary Entrant and Genuine Student for visa purposes.
Students who apply directly to the University may have their eligibility as a Genuine Temporary Entrant and Genuine Student for visa purposes assessed by RMIT at the time of submitting an application. You will be contacted by an RMIT admissions team member if you are required to provide further information.
