The Revival Kind: These gothic chandeliers took on a revival form sometime between eighteen forty to eighteen seventy. Due to the industrial boom, craftsmen decided to bring back the idea of crafting fixtures stemming back from the Medieval period. This resulted to the creation of such fixtures or what many now know it today as Victorian gothic chandeliers. These are very heavy and large in nature and they require a lot of decorations. The early fixtures were the ones made entirely for candle lighting. But the latter stages showed how they were powered by gas. When electricity became popular, many of these have been converted and utilized bulbs for lighting.
