The test engine was coupled with Cussons P8160 model DC
dynamometer which was rated 10 kW at 4000 rpm engine speed.
Load cell was used in order to measure brake torque. Engine speed
was measured by pick-up sensor mounted on the dynamometer
shaft. The schematic view of the experimental setup is seen in
Fig. 4.
Engine wall temperature was measured with K-type
thermocouple (TC) placed below the cylinder head. Engine oil
