Quiroz-Casta~neda et al. (2011) reported oak sawdust as the most
suitable substrate among various agro-residues such as the cedar
sawdust, wheat straw, rice husk, jatropha seed husk and corn
stubble for the production of xylanase enzyme by Bjerkandera
adusta (0.4 U/mg) and Pycnoporus sanguineus (0.3 U/mg)
