increased. Catalysts NieCe/Al2O3-X all exhibited a high stability
during the reaction, except the catalyst NieCe/Al2O3-250, although
NieCe/Al2O3-250 showed a relatively high conversion of CO,
however, it encountered a slight deactivation of CO conversion after
reacting for 12 h. It is observed that the optimum catalytic performance
was achieved with the catalyst NieCe/Al2O3-350 calcined at
350 C, the conversion of CO and the selectivity of CH4 reached up
to 95.4% and 90.7%, respectively, besides, the selectivity of CO2 and
C2e4 was around 8.4% and 0.8%, respectively. In addition, under the
same reaction conditions, NieCe/Al2O3-550 catalyst calcined at
550 C showed relatively higher selectivity of C2e4 than that of
other catalysts. This needs further investigation.
