The average recoveries obtained from the GC–MS/MS analysis of
the PAH-spiked samples ranged from 98.9% to111%, and the average recoveries
of the labeled deuterated PAHs ranged from 55.2% to 82.3%.
These results suggest that this approach was able to accurately determine
the PAH concentrations in the air samples. The concentrations of
the PAHs in the field blank samples ranged from none detected to
44.3 pg/m3, with the highest concentration observed for naphthalene.
