I don't want fame," she said. "I've been directing traffic for two years and never thought that someone would see me, record it and post it online.
"I want those who have seen my video clip to have a social conscience and volunteer to work in the communities where they grew up or live."
"I realised that if I just left one Sai Mai traffic policeman to work alone in the area, the constant traffic congestion would remain. That's why I decided to come out of the school to direct traffic, alongside some of our male teachers," she said.
"If I want them (motorists) to stop to allow students and people to cross the road, I give them a wai and bow my head every time," she said.
