Even though the land was bare, wonderful developments were happening in the water. New creations of life began so small that they were not visible. However, these new particles also had their own rules. These first forms of life were plant-like, and in order to exist, they had to eat and grow and they not eat the same things. They were given the ability to create others like themselves and so life began. The tiny plant-like particles were the beginning of life on earth; it began in water and was given a gift that would save the earth.
